| Customer Reviews: Gread mat for the price. September 21, 2009 Skippy @ Ole Miss (Oxford, MS USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this mat the other day in order to protect my back yard from my golf clubs. It's a great hitting mat for the money. It's a little small, but more than enough for practicing in the yard.
Lawn Protection June 21, 2010 K. Tarazi (Westchester, NY) When my kids (7 and 5) took up golf, they started practicing with whiffle balls on my lawn, creating serious divots. I bought these so that they would not touch the lawn. They hit the ball and then pick up the matt and walk to their ball, under which they slide this. It is a good, strong, lawn saver.
good for the price July 25, 2010 Dshin Hitting on it does save my lawn though its a little elevated when I put on my grass. Its small so it moves around after each hit. For $20 its worth it.
Great but does not hold up over time. April 18, 2010 T. Cole (Central Illinois) I bought the Callaway FT Launch Zone last May for my back yard and it is really nice to hit off of. The down side is if you use irons the green grass part will separate from the mat. The heavy rubber backing is heavy, but mine fell apart after light use in 1 year. By light use I mean about 20-30 hitting sessions and a winter of sitting.
