This aluminum tube works as a ball shagger should. I use it a lot and the "grabber" is just stiff enough. A good, simple product that does what you want it to do.

I read some reviews on the other ball retrievers for chipping and it was clear to stay away from the plastic stuff so I did. When I got the item, I thought that I would have to return it and get the shag bag instead because it really didn't look like it was going to work very well. I was very surprised when I took it out for the first time with about 15 golf balls and I must admit that it worked much better than I thought it would. I didn't have to bend over once. It saved my back and it's made of aluminum so it's solid. Best part of all is that it slid perfectly in my golf bag right next to my putter. One complaint is that if you turn the tube over with the balls in it, they will all come tumbling out regardless of the "cap" on it. The cap doesn't prevent the balls from falling out but as long as you keep your hand on it, it works pretty good.

works well, looks like it is going to last, only problem is rubber cap on top does not fit tight and if your are not careful when placing tube in your car golf bars are going to get out and roll around. I'm pleased with my purchase.
