One of the best golf instructional books of all time! May 15, 2009 Grayson Zacker (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book taught me so much about what is going on in the golf swing. It is detailed and comprehensive, but also presented in a way that is easy to understand and translate to your golf swing. Every golfer should own this book.
Best Golf Book Ever May 15, 2009 Chad M. Middaugh (Toledo, OH) I love reading Jim McLean's books. I was very excited to hear the Third Edition of The Eight Step Swing was coming out. In the book, He stresses the fundamentals, the true fundamentals that all the best players do, and makes them easy to understand for players of all abilities. My favorite part of McLean's book, The Eight Step Swing, is that he gives every player room for individual freedom in their swing and points out things you absolutely must not do which he calls "Death Moves." This book has tremendously helped my golf game! A++!
Better than ever May 16, 2009 Alan Fort Jim McLean breaks down the golf swing in a way that is very easy to picture (if you are a visual learner)and therefore is easy to understand. Feels like he is talking to you in person! Frankly, this is all you need to know about the golf swing.
Wow, golf made simple May 16, 2009 Roberto Carlos Lasa (Miami, FL) Jim knows the golf swing better than anyone in the golf world. He knows how to break it down into simple terms and ways that the average golfer can relate to. I would recommend this book to beginners, amateurs and professionals. Anyone who plays golf can benefit from this amazing book!
